The goal of ILC:F is to educate students about critical current events in finance and economics through weekly market discussions.
Weekly meetings consist of active discussions on market events as well as educational modules to help new members better understand core finance concepts and recruiting skills. Since 2003, ILC:F alumni have exited to top finance firms, and we maintain a wide alumni network at these firms.
ILC:F aims to be a collaborative environment where students can learn about finance and develop important professional skills.

Our market updates feature movements in the major asset classes, such as economic data, equities & deals, fixed income, commodities, and currencies. We lead interactive discussions among members that helps new analysts break down market drivers and identify key trends.
Senior-Led Breakout Groups
Seniors lead specific breakout groups to teach anyone who is interested in a specific topic, such as financial modelling, impact investing, options and derivatives, trading, blockchain & cryptocurrencies.
Modules
Our modules provide new analysts the knowledge necessary to analyze markets, apply accounting/corporate finance concepts and more. Previous module topics have included: asset classes, bond pricing, options, mergers & acquisitions, discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation and interview skills.

Opportunities for newer members to improve their professional presentation skills and gain knowledge about a topical area within the markets.
